Houston, Texas – October 1, 2009 – Enbase LLC, a leading energy-only automation company, is pleased to announce that it will be attending and exhibiting its new Environmental Automation System at the EPA Natural Gas STAR Conference in San Antonio, Texas, October 19 – 21, 2009. Each year, EPA sponsors an Annual Natural Gas STAR Implementation Workshop and Conference to further the Program’s goal of cost-effective methane emission reduction technologies and practices. This conference brings together Natural Gas STAR partners, industry experts and technology leaders to discuss the latest emissions management tools and practices. Enbase will be demonstrating its new Environmental Automation System (EAS) at this year’s STAR conference. The EAS represents a substantial leap forward for the energy industry in terms of streamlining and automating its emissions management and compliance activities. As the focus (and regulation) placed on air emissions in particular have dramatically increased, so too have the costs of compliance for energy companies. The Enbase EAS significantly lowers these costs. With its roots in oil and gas and exclusive focus in energy, Enbase specifically developed the EAS to dramatically reduce the time and expense required for emissions compliance – including operational data capture, emissions calculating, monitoring, permitting and reporting. As opposed to more generic, multi-industry software systems that must be “customized” to try to meet the needs and operational parameters of the energy industry, the Enbase EAS was built for and with energy industry participants from the very beginning. Accordingly, it not only automates the flow production, operations and energy accounting data into the environmental interface, it ties these important data repositories together so that the environmental team works in lockstep with entire organization. This makes environmental management and reporting organic to the company rather than a one-off, labor-intensive effort. The Natural Gas STAR Conference will be held at the Westin River Walk Hotel in San Antonio. Enbase invites all visitors and participants to stop by its booth for a full demonstration of its new Environmental Automation Solution, as well as its entire suite of energy-focused automation technologies.
